Back in April, Dale Tallon reassured all Florida Panthers fans that they’d be conducting an extensive search for the next coach. Jim Montgomery and Michel Therrien have recently gotten a second interview with the team. How meaningful are these second interviews? Not much, I’ll explain.
Though no one knows the complete list, up until now Tallon is on the record saying he’s interviewed six coaching candidates. Amongst those names are Bob Boughner, Jim Montgomery, and Michel Therrien.
However, Tallon says he plans on interviewing a half-dozen more before the search comes to an end.
