SUNRISE, FLA. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with D Cameron Gaunce on a one-year, two-way contract. In addition, the club also announced that they have agreed to terms with D Brent Regner on a two-year, two-way contract.
“The additions of Gaunce and Regner help to further strengthen our organization’s blueline,” said Tallon. “Gaunce is a strong, hardworking, physical defenseman and Regner is a responsible, mobile two-way defenseman who can play both on the power play and penalty kill.”
Gaunce, 25, played 73 games with the Texas Stars (AHL) during the 2014-15 season, recording 14 points (4-10—14).
