On Saturday, October. 26, the Florida Panthers announced that they acquired forward Jack Rodewald from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for the rights to forward Chris Wilkie.
Rodewald, who’s currently 25 years of age, played primarily with the Belleville Senators (Ottawa’s AHL affiliate) during the 2018-19 season. In 59 games, Rodewald recorded 23G, 24A, for 47 total points. This year, though, he’s featured in six games, having yet to record a point.
In addition to playing four seasons with the Belleville Senators (three with Belleville and one with Binghamton), Rodewald has also experienced stints with the Toronto Marlies (AHL), Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), and Wichita Thunder (ECHL).
