It was a tough season all around for both the Florida Panthers and center Vincent Trocheck. The Panthers failed to make the postseason, while Trocheck experienced certain roadblocks that prevented him from recording the same type of figures that he put up in 2017-18.
During the 2017-18 season, Trocheck recorded 31G, 44A, for 75 points in 82 games, closing out the year with career highs in all three of those categories.
The following season, however, wasn’t so fruitful for Vinny. He started the year off incredibly slow and hit the largest hurdle in his career to date, going down injured in a game against the Ottawa Senators, which sidelined him for 27 games.
