The Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with F Jonathan Huberdeau.
“Jonathan is a skilled and dynamic young player who will play an important role on our team for the future,” said Tallon. “We want the best players and the best team. It’s really starting to come together.”
Huberdeau, 22, paced the Panthers with a team-leading 54 points last season, while reaching career-highs in goals (15), assists (39) and points (54) in a career-high 79 games.
Internationally, Huberdeau has represented Canada at the 2014 World Championship, 2013 World Junior Championship and 2012 World Junior Championship, where he won a Bronze Medal.
