The 2015 IIHF World Men’s Ice Hockey Championship will begin on Friday, May 1, with six Florida Panthers representing their respective countries in the tournament in Prague and Ostrava, Czech Republic, on May 1-17.
Panthers F Aleksander Barkov (Finland), D Aaron Ekblad (Canada), F Jaromir Jagr (Czech Republic), F Jussi Jokinen (Finland), F Tomas Kopecky (Slovakia) and D Dmitry Kulikov (Russia) will all participate in the tournament.
Barkov and Ekblad will both make their World Championship debuts, while Jokinen and Kopecky will serve as Captain of their respective teams.
