THIBODAUX, La. – Three different players scored two goals as FIU rolled to a 7-0 victory at Nicholls State on Sunday afternoon at the Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex.
The win moves the Panthers to 2-0 on the season and the 13 goals over the last two games marks the most in program history in the opening two games of a season.
FIU struck first in the sixth minute as sophomore found the back of the net off a corner kick, for her second score of the season.
As the Panthers continued to dominate possession in the first half, junior fired the first of her two goals following assists by sophomores Breayln Vamille and Cat Rap.
