MIAMI (Aug. 29, 2021) – The FIU women's soccer team held Lipscomb to its lowest scoring output of the season on Sunday at FIU Soccer Stadium, but the Blue & Gold were unable to overcome a 1-0 deficit to the Bisons.
FIU's record now stands at 1-3 on the season, while the Bison remain undefeated and improve to 4-0.
The Panthers displayed a strong defensive effort to slow down a Lipscomb offense that had scored at least two goals in every match this season. FIU allowed its only goal of the match early on at the 10-minute mark, after the Bisons created a breakaway that resulted in a score.
