LEXINGTON, VA (Jan 19, 2019) - The FIU Track & Field team concluded its second weekend of indoor competition with a number of impressive performances at the Keydet Invite in Lexington, VA, hosted by VMI Friday and Saturday.
Queshun Watson-Riggins followed up an impressive debut last week with two top five finishes, including a third place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 14.65m (22'9 ¾"). The freshman also placed fifth in the long jump, with a leap of 6.95m (22'9 ¾").
Sherilene Gelderblom, in her first action of the indoor season, placed second in the women's mile, crossing the line in 5:05.
