MIAMI – The FIU swimming and diving team earned seven total spots on the 2024 CSCAA Scholar All-America teams for the Spring semester, announced by the organization.
Athletes must have a GPA of at least 3.5 to qualify with first team honors going to those who competed at the NCAA National Championships and second team honors going to those that met the "B" time standard or participated in a diving zone qualifier
Paige Burrell and Christie Chue are FIU's two first team representatives.
Burrell competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive, placing top-25 in both events, her best finishes at the NCAA Championships.
