DALLAS, Texas – FIU women's soccer's Nikole Solis was named the Conference USA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, as Solis recorded four goals over a pair of wins last week to notch her first career C-USA Player of the Week honor.
Solis, a native of Boca Raton, Fla., leads FIU in goals (4) and points (8) after a strong week for the Panthers, starting with her first goal of the season in the second half of Thursday's 3-1 win at Stetson on Aug. 25. The sophomore forward followed up with a career performance on Sunday, notching her first career hat trick with three goals to extend FIU's win streak upon a 4-2 win over Southern at FIU Soccer Stadium – marking the Panthers' highest single-game goal tally since 2013.
