MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – Sophomore led off the game with a home run to left and the Panthers piled on with nine runs over the final four innings as the FIU softball team cruised to a 10-2 victory over Oakland University on Saturday afternoon in its second game of the day at The Spring Games.
The Panthers (8-7) did actually trail for a moment in the win over the Bears as Oakland responded to Lansdell's blast with a pair of runs on a double by Maci Brown in the bottom of the first before FIU took complete control with nine unanswered scores.
