MIAMI — The FIU softball team (25-11) will conclude non-conference play with a home tilt at Felsberg Field against FAU on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Panthers enter the contest having just had their streak of consecutive series victories to open conference play snapped at three this past weekend at Jacksonville State.
Despite the series loss, Paige Miller continued her torrid stretch, accumulating eight hits in the three-game series to push her streak of consecutive games with multiple hits to four.
Miller, who leads the team with a .404 batting average, also produced her third and fourth three-hit games of the season, and she extended her overall hitting streak to six in a row.
