In a vote of the Conference USA coaches Tuesday, FIU softball landed five players on the All-Conference USA lists, as senior catcher Aleima Lopez (Deltona, Florida / Deltona HS) earned the First-Team catcher honor, while junior Stephanie Texeira (Miami, Florida / Gulliver Prep) and sophomore A.J. Belans (Hollywood, Florida / American Heritage) took Second-Team infield spots and junior Gabby Spallone (Miami, Florida / Palmetto HS) and freshman Jackie Schoff (Bradenton, Florida / Lakewood Ranch HS) earning Second-Team outfield selections. The Panthers also placed three on the 11-member Conference USA All-Freshman Team, with Schoff and freshman pitchers Megan Kugelmann (Merritt Island, Florida / Cocoa Beach HS) and Abby Summers (Weston, Missouri) landing on the rookie squad.
