BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The FIU men's basketball team dropped a hard-fought matchup on the road at Western Kentucky on Saturday evening, falling 70-59 in a contest that featured nine lead changes inside E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Ky. The Hilltoppers (11-6, 3-3 C-USA) rallied off an 18-4 run through the latter portion of the second half to hold a double-figure cushion en route to dropping FIU to 8-9 overall and 2-4 in the Conference USA.
C-USA Freshman of the Week Arturo Dean led three Panthers in double figures with 18 points, a career-highs of nine rebounds and five steals, and three assists in 36 minutes.
