MIAMI (March 12, 2022) – On a chilly blustery for baseball in South Florida, the FIU baseball team dropped it's contest Jacksonville 13-6.
Panther centerfielder homered for the second time in as many games on Saturday as the Jacksonville, Florida native pulverized a three-run shot in the third for his team-leading fourth dinger of the season.
A total of seven different Panthers collect a base hit on Saturday, while double down the left field line in the fourth was the only other FIU extra base hit of the night.
Jacksonville opened the scoring with a trio of runs in the first and another in the second to take a 4-0 lead after two innings.
