The FIU men's and women's indoor track and field teams had two top-three finishes and three student-athletes qualify for the final in their respective events, during day one of the Conference USA Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
Women's Highlights
- Terrisa Russell (Fort Lauderdale, Florida/South Broward) got the Panthers off to a good start on Saturday taking second place in the weight throw with a toss of 20.
