MIAMI, Fla. - FIU baseball's Patrick Pridgen was selected 447th overall in the 15th round by the Detroit Tigers in Tuesday's MLB Draft.

Pridgen becomes the 25th Panther drafted since FIU joined Conference USA in 2014 and first to be taken by the Tigers over the span.

The right-hand pitcher logged a team-high 112 strikeouts through 14 starts for the Panthers, while holding a 4.
