Panthers Washed Out at Day One of Rainbow Wahine Invitational

KAPOLEI, HI (Oct. 30, 2018) – After traveling nearly halfway around the world, the FIU women's golf team saw day one of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational cancelled due to rain.

The originally scheduled 54-hole tournament has been cut to a single 18-hole round on Wednesday. The winner-take-all round gets underway at 2 p.m. ET.

A total of eight Panthers made the trip to Hawaii to don the blue and gold with Valentina Gilly, Carolina Andrade, Agueda Cortilla, Ana Maria Rengifo and Hannah Leiner making up the team scorecard.
