MIAMI (Oct. 18, 2019) - FIU opened up day one of Dual-A-Pool-Ooza with a 135-89 win over Tulane on Friday evening.
FIU won eight of the 12 events on the opening day of competition, racing past the Green Wave for the first win of the weekend. Click here for results.
The evening opened up with the 400 medley relay, as the team of Julia Miranda, Taylor Grabenhorst, Emily Cordovi and Lamija Medosevic touched at 3:47.26 to secure the first victory of the day.
Stephanie Hussey followed with a second-place finish in the 1000 free event after her swim of 10:15.
