ATLANTA (Feb. 28, 2020) - The FIU swimming and diving team dominated on day three of the Conference USA Championships, as the Panthers head into the final day of competition with 712.5 points.
FIU is ahead of second-place Rice, who has 586.5 points, while FAU is in third with 295 points.
Stephanie Hussey opened the evening activities with a win in the 400 IM, after clocking in with a time of 4:16.30 in the A final. The time qualifies her for the NCAA B standard cut.
FIU went on to medal in the 100 fly, with Julia Miranda taking silver after a time of 54.
