MIAMI (Sept. 29, 2019) - The FIU women's soccer team fell to Marshall at home by a score of 6-0, as the Panthers wrapped up a two-game home stint in Miami on Sunday afternoon.
The Panthers' record now stands at 2-8 for the 2019 season, while the Thundering Herd improve to 3-8. FIU holds an 0-3 record in C-USA play this year, while Marshall stands at 1-2 in conference play.
Marshall led 3-0 after the first half, as the Thundering Herd saw scores from Marah Abu-tayeh, Morgan White, and Metztli Gonzalez. The Panthers recorded five shots in the first half — including three on-goal — with Rayquel Berry, Ellen Halseth, and Laura Chavez all contributing shot attempts.
