MIAMI (Sept. 17, 2019) - The FIU men's soccer team ended in a draw in their match against North Florida on Tuesday night, as the Panthers and Ospreys settled for a 1-1 draw after a double overtime clash at FIU Soccer Stadium.
FIU's record now stands at 4-0-2 on the season, while UNF shifts to 1-2-1.
The Panthers dominated possession early in the first period, as they remained patient with their passing and played keep-away from the Ospreys in an attempt to wear the defense down. FIU was able to get on the board first in the 32nd minute, as Xavi Olmos Ferris claimed his second goal of the season to put the Panthers up 1-0.
