BOCA RATON, Florida (May 2, 2021) – To conclude the season series with the FAU Owls, the FIU fell 9-8 and 3-1 on Sunday in a twin bill.
In game one, Justin Farmer stayed red hot driving in three of the eight Panther runs by going 3-for-5 with a RBI double in the four-run first inning and a two-run home run in the third. The homer was Farmer's team-leading eight of the season and fourth in the last six games.
Dante Girardi aided in the Panther attack going 3-for-4 while driving in a pair of this own.
