MURFREESBORO, Tennessee (May 12, 2019) – The FIU baseball team was all business on Sunday, as the Panthers pounced on Middle Tennessee to win 10-6 and take the series over the Blue Raiders.
The Panthers scored nine runs in the first three innings, as FIU kept MT calling the bullpen all afternoon long. With the win, FIU improves to 22-29 overall and 11-16 in C-USA action, while MT falls to 18-33 and 11-16 in conference play.
Freshman Franco Aleman earned the victory after going six innings, allowing four runs on the day. MT's Carson Lester was dealt the loss, facing four batters and allowing four runs.
