MIAMI (May 18, 2020) - Next up in our Q&A series with FIU football is wide receiver, Shemar Thornton. The Miami native is FIU's leading returning receiver, after he hauled in nearly 700 yards in 2019.
Thornton's breakout game came against Old Dominion last season, as he caught six passes for 125 yards. Thornton hauled in five touchdown grabs, which led the team, with one of those coming in the 30-24 win over Miami.
Q: What was your most memorable moment from last season?
A: "Beating Miami and Coach Davis dancing in the locker room.
