MIAMI (June 26, 2019) – Next up in our Q&A series with FIU football is safety Olin Cushion III. The Panther is coming off his most productive season after his stellar 2018, playing in all 13 games and starting in 11 of those.
A Miami native, Cushion finished the season with 65 total tackles which ranked third on the team. The biggest moment of 2018 for Cushion came in the waning seconds against Middle Tennessee when the safety sealed FIU's 24-21 win with an interception in the back of the end zone. Cushion is now preparing for a big senior season at FIU, as he took time to sit down with FIUSports.
