MIAMI (July 10, 2019) – Next up in our Q&A series with FIU football is running back Napoleon Maxwell. The senior led FIU on the ground last season, rushing for seven touchdowns and racking up 684 yards, while his 5.3 yards-per-carry average ranked ninth in the league.
Maxwell's breakout game came against UMass last season, as the Panther rushed for a career-high 104 yards on 18 carries against the Minutemen. A St. Petersburg, Florida native, Maxwell has played in 32 games over his career with the Panthers and has rushed for 1,415 yards on the ground.
