MIAMI (June 5, 2019) – Next up in our Q&A series with FIU football is kicker Jose Borregales. The Panther is coming off another great season at FIU, after earning a spot on the Conference USA Honorable Mention Team for his efforts on special teams.
A Miami native, Borregales has served as FIU's clutch kicker the past two seasons. The rising sophomore made 14 field goals this past season and broke the school-record for most PATs made in a single-season, after making 54. Borregales also booted a school-record 53-yard field goal in a pivotal conference win over Middle Tennessee.
