MIAMI (Aug. 7, 2019) – Next up in our Q&A series with FIU women's basketball is guard Diene Diane. The junior transfer will be joining Panthers this fall.
Diane, a 5-10 French native, comes to FIU after playing collegiately for two seasons at Gulf Coast State College (Panama City, Florida). As a freshman, Diane played 30 games while averaging 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. The forward played 30 games as a sophomore as well, averaging 6.8 and 2.2 rebounds per contest. Diane also has experience on the national stage, playing for her home country and winning a gold medal at the 3x3 U18 FIBA World Cup.
