Miami – The FIU beach volleyball team (20-12, 8-5 CCSA) is traveling to Estero, Fla. on Tuesday, April 18, to compete against Florida Gulf Coast at 4 p.m. This match will be the Panthers' final contest before the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Tournament this upcoming weekend in Emerson, Georgia.
FIU finished the last weekend of regular season tournament play at the Florida State Alumni Weekend Invitational, posting a 2-2 record, which improved them to 20-12 on the season. During the two-day event, the Panthers upended No. 9 Stetson, 3-2, as well as No. 10 Grand Canyon State, 4-1.
