MIAMI – FIU graduate transfer James Morgan was named as one of 49 players nationally included on the watch list for the 2018 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, Inc. announced this week.
Morgan is just one of five C-USA quarterbacks named to the prestigious watch list. As a redshirt freshman at Bowling Green, Morgan threw for over 2,000 yards and set a program record with 16 touchdown tosses in only seven starts.
The honor is given annually to the nation's top college quarterback, and candidates must be a college senior or fourth-year junior on schedule to graduate with their class.
