DALLAS (Dec. 12, 2018) – Continuing his successful first season at FIU, quarterback James Morgan was named one of 13 honorees for the Conference USA Spirit of Service Award, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The honor recognizes the league's student-athlete's significant community service endeavors, good academic standing and participation in their elected sport. The Spirit of Service award is presented three times throughout the season, with today's honorees representing fall sports: football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's cross country.
Morgan has proved he's more than just a quarterback on the field, as the redshirt junior has been a staple in the Miami community.
