Former FIU infielder and three-time World Series champion Mike Lowell will be inducted into the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame on June 27.
Lowell will be one of four inductees during a ceremony later this summer at the 2018 CoSIDA Convention in National Harbor, Maryland.
Joining Lowell as 2018 inductees are Dr. Harry Edwards (San Jose State - basketball/track & field), former Washington State kicker Jason Hanson, and former Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning.
During his FIU career (1993-95), Lowell hit .355 with 218 hits, 38 doubles and 119 RBI.
