LAKEWOOD RANCH, Florida (Oct. 21, 2018) – Returning to the links for the first time in two weeks, the FIU women's golf team shot an opening round of 300 at the Panther-hosted FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.
The Panthers sit in a tie with Gonzaga and Eastern Michigan for sixth place following the opening 18 holes.
Competing as an Individual, Hannah Leiner had a banner day firing a one-under par 71 to place her in a tie for seventh overall. The sophomore's 71 is the lowest round of her career.
Valentia Gilly had the best team score on Sunday with a 73.
