COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Sophomore Karissa Kilby (E) finished tied for eighth to lead the FIU women's golf team at the 2022 Coeur d'Alene Invitational on Sunday afternoon, as the Panthers finished 17th out of 19 teams at the par-71 Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course.
Kilby, a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, continues her momentum after a promising freshman campaign, and impressive summer competing in the 77th US Women's Open, finishing even with a score of 213 behind a tournament-best 13 birdies and career low first-round 67 for her fourth career top-10 finish. Additionally, Kilby led the field in par-5 scoring (-6) over 54 holes.
