MIAMI – FIU sophomore quarterback Keyone Jenkins has been selected as the Conference USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 30, conference officials announced on Monday.
Jenkins completed 19-of-27 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers' 35-27 victory over Middle Tennessee in the season finale at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium on Saturday. He helped FIU race out to an early 28-7 lead with 232 of his 319 passing yards coming in the opening 30 minutes of the contest.
He finished his sophomore campaign with 22 passing touchdowns – which is the second-highest single-season total in FIU history.
