MIAMI – FIU sophomore quarterback Keyone Jenkins has been selected as the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 7, conference officials announced on Monday.
Jenkins led the Panthers' offense to their highest single-game point total since 2018 in FIU's 52-16 win over Central Michigan at Pitbull Stadium on Saturday night.
Overall, Jenkins accounted for three touchdowns and a two-point conversion in the convincing victory over the Chippewas. He threw for a pair of touchdowns, as well as a successful two-point conversion and also posted another score on a four-yard rush.
