DALLAS, Texas - (Sept. 9, 2018) – Freshman Kaydeen Jack scored twice on Sunday night, but FIU was unable to overcome SMU's quick start as the Panthers fell 5-2.
The Mustangs scored a pair of goals in the first five minutes of Sunday's contest, to put the Panthers on their heels right away. FIU responded well defensively however, as the Panthers held SMU scoreless for the next 52 minutes before the Mustangs struck again to go up 3-0 in the 57th minute.
Trailing 3-0, Jack connected on her career first goal thanks to a beautiful pass from Olivia Sandahl.
