MIAMI (Jan. 25, 2021) - After a successful first season on the FIU football coaching staff, Harrison Green was recognized as a FootballScoop Special Teams Coach of the Year finalist on Monday.
Harrison, who capped his first season with the Panthers in 2020, was one of just four finalists for the award. He joins the pair of Zac Alley and Winston Venable of Boise State and Sean Saturnio of Army as this year's award finalists. Now in their 13th year, the FootballScoop Coach of the Year awards are the only coaching honors where coaches must be nominated by one of their peers in order to receive consideration and where each year's winner is chosen by the prior winners of that award.
