MIAMI (July 12, 2019) - Former Panther Stephanie Texeira has been named to the 2019 American Softball Association (ASBA) All-Star Game, continuing her successful career post-FIU.
The game will be held on Saturday, July 13 in Satsuma, Alabama. The game will be dedicated to promoting cancer awareness, with the ASBA donating proceeds from the game to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Texeira, in her second season with the league, was selected in the inaugural ASBA draft last summer in the eighth round by Moh-beel! USA. Following her first season, Texeira was named to the league's First Team All-ASBA and the All-Defensive Team.
