JACKSONVILLE, ALA. – Sophomore quarterback Keyone Jenkins completed 21-of-34 passes for 258 yards and junior wide receiver Dean Patterson posted a career-high 116 receiving yards in a back-and-forth affair at Jacksonville State which resulted in a 34-31 loss for the Panthers on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers led with 12:55 left in regulation following a 39-yard touchdown pass from Jenkins to redshirt freshman Antonio Ferguson, before the Gamecocks rallied to reclaim the lead with just under 10 minutes lef0 on a 56-yard touchdown run by Tre Stewart.
