IRVING, Texas (April 18, 2017) – FIU sophomore Maryna Veksler has been named to this year's InTouch Credit Union C-USA Women's Tennis All-Academic Team the league announced on Tuesday. Honorees are voted on by the league's sports information directors for tennis and must hold a minimum 3.2 GPA and have competed in at least 75 percent of their team's scheduled matches.
Veksler, a native of Kiev, Ukraine, has recorded a 3.80 GPA while studying computer engineering. Appearing in all 20 matches at the No. 2 position for the Panthers, Veksler has recorded a 15-2 mark in dual matches.
