KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 10, 2015) – FIU's Kevin Nylen has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as its 2015 Glenn "Mooch" Myernick Assistant Coach of the Year for the southeast region the organization announced on Thursday.
The award is named for Glenn "Mooch" Myernick, former Hartwick College and US National Team assistant coach and is designed to highlight outstanding assistant coaches in the college game. It is awarded to one national winner and eight regional winners for both men's and women's programs each year.
