MIAMI Fla. – FIU women's basketball guard Kaliah Henderson earned for the first time Conference USA Player of the Week honors for the period ending Feb. 5, conference officials announced today.
FIU went a perfect 2-0 last week with victories over Charlotte and UAB. The two wins at home improved the Panthers' overall record to 12-10 and 7-6 in C-USA action.
In both games, Henderson averaged 24 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals. The senior recorded a career high 28 points on 9-17 shooting, 8-10 from the foul line, and chipped in four steals in a 50-44 win against the 49ers on Thursday (Feb.
