NEW YORK, N.Y. (Feb. 4, 2017) – The FIU women's tennis team (4-1) recorded its second-straight road victory with a 4-3 win over Columbia (1-4) on Saturday afternoon from the Dick Savitt Tennis Center in New York.
FIU put the match away early earning the doubles point and winning three-straight singles contests for a 4-0 lead. With doubles wins by Andrea Lazaro and Nina Nagode (6-3 over Adi Milstein and Alexandra Solovyev), and Mina Markovic and Gabriela Ferreira (6-2 over Ali Pollack and Renee Ren), the Panthers took a 1-0 lead to begin the match.
