MIAMI, Fla. – Senior Hope Butera had a career game against Bradley University and led FIU to victory with a double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) on Tuesday afternoon at the OceanBank Convocation Center. With the win today, the Panthers are back at the .500 mark with a 5-5 overall record.
The Panthers' bench was a major factor in the win today outscoring Bradley's reserves 23-4. Leading the second unit for FIU was junior forward Ajae Yoakum who finished 11 points and was third on the team with five rebounds.
Although the three-point shot was not falling today for the Panthers, they made up for that with their effort scoring inside.
