INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 13, 2016) – The FIU women's golf team has been recognized by the NCAA for its multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) for the 2014-2015 academic year, which ranks in the top 10 percent among all Division I women's golf teams. The NCAA honored more than 1,000 sports teams with public recognition awards.
This marks the second-straight year that women's golf has received this honor.
The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams nationally. The scores required to be in the top 10 ranged from 983 to a perfect 1,000, depending on the sport.
