MIAMI (April 29, 2020) – FIU women's basketball head coach Jesyka Burks-Wiley announced the first addition to the 2020-21 roster on Wednesday afternoon, as the Panthers added a Swedish forward from Palm Beach State College.
Alma Danielsson (Uppsala, Sweden) will join the Panthers in the fall after playing two years at Palm Beach State College.
"We are very excited to have Alma join our family," said coach Burks-Wiley. "Alma's versatility paired with her ability to shoot the ball at a high percentage made her a no-brainer for our program. Add in the fact that she is a wonderful young woman and has been coached by a former Panther in Coach Maureen Smith, I'm looking forward to witnessing the impact she has on and off the court at FIU.
