PORT CHARLOTTE, Florida (Feb. 22, 2019) - FIU baseball, led by Logan Allen, beat South Dakota State by a score of 4-1 to open the weekend at the Snowbird Baseball Classic.
Allen earned his first win of the season with a dominate performance going six shutout innings while only giving up two hits and striking out 10 Jackrabbits. SDSU's Brady Stover took the loss.
Once again, Lorenzo Hampton, Jr. paced the FIU bats with a 2-for-3 day including a triple and three runs scored. Seth Cannady knocked in two Panthers to help FIU to it's third-straight win.
